FUCHSIA SAIGNANT questions the infinite potential and limits of the human being in relation to Love. It metabolizes the joy of love into a devouring and brutal passion trough a transversal narrative form close to docu-fiction where dance, theatre, image and music collide.
The FUCHSIA SAIGNANT project was selected by the City of Geneva for a writing and research grant in 2016. "In Fuchsia Saignant, a multilingual show, there is Rodrigo Garcia in the direct addressing, the aggressiveness on a hair trigger and the gymnastic side of the show. But there is also Angelica Liddell in the strong relation to femininity and the atoning suffering associated with it (a woman who suffers is a woman that is saved). Trained at Serge Martin in Geneva, the Greek author and director stands for physical theatre, interaction with the public and ardent questioning. Her work, raw and overflowing, is captivating."
